Since our beginning in 1999, HPS Ltd has developed from a site based coordination solution into a dedicated Building Services Coordination office in Dartford, Kent.

Our team includes engineers who are able to manage the contract process from design through coordination and pre-fabrication to installation, as well as our junior engineers who are committed to developing their skills and maintaining the Company’s highest standards.

Our dedicated office allows us streamlined control over the coordination process to ensure safe, professional and quality assured procedures are adhered to.

Our chosen software for undertaking the co-ordinating process is AutoCAD Architecture, 2008, with CAD Duct solids working within AutoCAD and providing the 3D services element. For visualisation and clash detection Navisworks was chosen. This software allows us to work within a virtual construction model, where the 3D model is built prior to the start of actual works on site. This allows us to identify areas of uncertainty allowing any possible co-ordination issues to be solved electronically. Our models are built from an extensive library of actual manufacturers items giving us the confidence to pre-manufacture services to exact tolerances with minimal closures on site. When the model is coupled with our visualisation walk-through package; confidence is projected throughout not only the team but to other contractors who can clearly see our installation and understand the co-ordination philosophy and interfaces between trades. This is a real time review where the model is kept as a live entity which grows and changes as the design and construction development.
